SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Diane Skorpinski of Waukegan, who passed away on November 5, 2016 at the age of 63; and

WHEREAS, Diane Skorpinski graduated from Waukegan High School and the College of Lake County; and

WHEREAS, Diane Skorpinski worked in child care for many years; she also worked for Abbott Laboratories; and

WHEREAS, Diane Skorpinski enjoyed her doll collection, reading, estate and garage sales, solving Sudoku puzzles, and spending time with her great-niece and great-nephew; and

WHEREAS, Diane Skorpinski was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Rost, and her grandparents, Ellen Skorpinski and Joe and Antoinette Shear; and

WHEREAS, Diane Skorpinski is survived by her parents, Charlotte Skorpinski and Frank Skorpinski; her sister, Debbie Graves; her niece, Jennie (Mike) Taibl; her nephew, Rick Black; her great-niece, Lia Ballard; her great-nephew, Logan Taibl; and her stepsiblings, Randy Skorpinski and Patricia Skorpinski; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Diane Skorpinski; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Diane Skorpinski as an expression of our sympathy.
