SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Diane Skorpinski of Waukegan, who passed
4away on November 5, 2016 at the age of 63; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Diane Skorpinski graduated from Waukegan High
6School and the College of Lake County; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Diane Skorpinski worked in child care for many
8years; she also worked for Abbott Laboratories; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Diane Skorpinski enjoyed her doll collection,
10reading, estate and garage sales, solving Sudoku puzzles, and
11spending time with her great-niece and great-nephew; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Diane Skorpinski was preceded in death by her
13brother, Paul Rost, and her grandparents, Ellen Skorpinski and
14Joe and Antoinette Shear; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Diane Skorpinski is survived by her parents,
16Charlotte Skorpinski and Frank Skorpinski; her sister, Debbie
17Graves; her niece, Jennie (Mike) Taibl; her nephew, Rick Black;
18her great-niece, Lia Ballard; her great-nephew, Logan Taibl;
19and her stepsiblings, Randy Skorpinski and Patricia
20Skorpinski; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Diane Skorpinski; and
4be it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Diane Skorpinski as an expression of
7our sympathy.
