SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Michael A. Wolfe of Moline, who passed away on March 29, 2024; and

WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe was born to Royal and Nancy (Parker) Wolfe in Moline on January 3, 1950; he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; and

WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe retired as a molder and production controller for the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Tech Center; and

WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe enjoyed gardening, model building, basket weaving, woodworking, tinkering, playing the guitar and drums, and bird watching; and

WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe was preceded in death by his parents and his cat, Maude; and

WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe is survived by his sons, Adam (Leah) Wolfe and Aaron (Abigail) Wolfe; his grandchildren, Cameron, Zachery, Kaitlyn, Royal, and Ronnie; his sisters, Sheri (Don) Gross and Sheila (Buzzy) King; his nieces, Tracy (Scott) and Jenn (Mike); his nephews, Tommy (Melissa), Josh (Tonya), and Joe (Lindsay); his great-nieces, Shelby, Tori, Brooke, Laci, Caylee, Hannah, Madison, Maci, Gretchen, and Addison; his great-nephews, Colton, Devon, Marcus, and Carter; his great-great-niece, Kaiya, with another on the way; and his great-great-nephew, Kairo; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Michael A. Wolfe and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michael Wolfe as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
