SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Michael A. Wolfe of Moline, who passed
4away on March 29, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe was born to Royal and Nancy
6(Parker) Wolfe in Moline on January 3, 1950; he served in the
7U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe retired as a molder and production
9controller for the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and
10Tech Center; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe enjoyed gardening, model building,
12basket weaving, woodworking, tinkering, playing the guitar and
13drums, and bird watching; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe was preceded in death by his
15parents and his cat, Maude; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe is survived by his sons, Adam
17(Leah) Wolfe and Aaron (Abigail) Wolfe; his grandchildren,
18Cameron, Zachery, Kaitlyn, Royal, and Ronnie; his sisters,
19Sheri (Don) Gross and Sheila (Buzzy) King; his nieces, Tracy
20(Scott) and Jenn (Mike); his nephews, Tommy (Melissa), Josh

1(Tonya), and Joe (Lindsay); his great-nieces, Shelby, Tori,
2Brooke, Laci, Caylee, Hannah, Madison, Maci, Gretchen, and
3Addison; his great-nephews, Colton, Devon, Marcus, and Carter;
4his great-great-niece, Kaiya, with another on the way; and his
5great-great-nephew, Kairo; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Michael A. Wolfe and extend our sincere condolences to his
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Michael Wolfe as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
