HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Montini Catholic High School football team, the Broncos, on winning the 2009 Illinois High School Association Class 5A State Football Championship; and

WHEREAS, The Montini Catholic football team previously won in 2004, in the Class 4A State Championship game; and

WHEREAS, The Broncos beat Joliet Catholic to win the championship and ended the season with record of 10-4; and

WHEREAS, The Athletic Director of the school is Don Riley; and

WHEREAS, The Head Coach is Chris Andriano; the Assistant Coaches are: Matt Andriano, Brian Barrett, Anthony Borsellino, Joey Borsellino, Lewis Borsellino, Mike Bukovsky, Joseph Consalvo, Mike Mucha, Mark Placey, Pat Venna, Bob Westerkamp, Lewis Borsellino Jr., Joe Borsellino, Ted Fleckles, and Eric Ligeikis; the trainers are Megan Lindley and Kyle Barth; and

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Broncos of Montini Catholic High School on their championship season; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Montini Catholic High School football team, the Broncos, as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
