SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Judith Ann Farmer of Brighton, who passed away on November 6, 2007; and

WHEREAS, She was born on October 18, 1941, in Alton; her parents were Glen V. and Elizabeth Leota (Wyman) Dooley; she married John J. Farmer on November 18, 1961 in Alton; and

WHEREAS, She worked as a waitress at the B & K Cafe in Brighton; she also worked at the Watson Laundry and loved to iron clothes; and

WHEREAS, Judith Farmer was the sacristan at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Brighton; she also held tickets to the Alton Little Theater longer than any other individual; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Gary Dooley; and

WHEREAS, Judith Ann Farmer is survived by her husband, John; her daughters and sons-in-law, Bridgett Ann (Ed) Morris, Debra Elizabeth Kesler, and Mary Beth (Rusty) Ruyle; her sons, John Edward Farmer, Mark Anthony Farmer, Harry Glen Farmer, and Joseph Frank Farmer; her ten grandchildren; her three great-grandchildren; her sisters, Joyce Stoops and Christina Whitaker; and her brother, Dennis Dooley; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Judith Ann Farmer; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Judith Ann Farmer as a symbol of our sympathy.
