SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Judith Ann Farmer of Brighton, who passed
4 away on November 6, 2007; and
 
5     WHEREAS, She was born on October 18, 1941, in Alton; her
6 parents were Glen V. and Elizabeth Leota (Wyman) Dooley; she
7 married John J. Farmer on November 18, 1961 in Alton; and
 
8     WHEREAS, She worked as a waitress at the B & K Cafe in
9 Brighton; she also worked at the Watson Laundry and loved to
10 iron clothes; and
 
11     WHEREAS, Judith Farmer was the sacristan at St. Alphonsus
12 Catholic Church in Brighton; she also held tickets to the Alton
13 Little Theater longer than any other individual; and
 
14     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; and her
15 brother, Gary Dooley; and
 
16     WHEREAS, Judith Ann Farmer is survived by her husband,
17 John; her daughters and sons-in-law, Bridgett Ann (Ed) Morris,
18 Debra Elizabeth Kesler, and Mary Beth (Rusty) Ruyle; her sons,
19 John Edward Farmer, Mark Anthony Farmer, Harry Glen Farmer, and
20 Joseph Frank Farmer; her ten grandchildren; her three

1 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Joyce Stoops and Christina
2 Whitaker; and her brother, Dennis Dooley; therefore, be it
 
3     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
4 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
5 her family and friends, the passing of Judith Ann Farmer; and
6 be it further
 
7     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8 presented to the family of Judith Ann Farmer as a symbol of our
9 sympathy.
