SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the recent death of Joseph J. Filip; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Filip was a U.S. Army Veteran and will be deeply missed; and

WHEREAS, His passing has been felt by many, especially his wife, Jacqueline (nee Bates); his children, Joseph M. (Wendy) Filip and Lora (James) Degrado; his granddaughter, Kristin Filip; and his siblings, Violet Bachielli and Donald (Mary) Filip; he was a dear uncle and great-uncle of many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Joseph J. Filip, and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to his family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
