SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

40 ILCS 5/15-176.5 new

Amends the State Universities Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Provides that the Board of Trustees of the System shall provide administrative support to the State Universities Retirement System Member Advisory Committee. Effective July 1, 2023.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning public employee benefits.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by adding Section 15-176.5 as follows:

(40 ILCS 5/15-176.5 new)

Sec. 15-176.5. To provide administrative support to the State Universities Retirement System Member Advisory Committee. The Board shall provide administrative support to the State Universities Retirement System Member Advisory Committee.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
