SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert "Bob" Blaser Hall of Moline, who passed away on September 14, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Bob Hall was born to Robert A. Hall and Helen Blaser Hall in Moline on May 31, 1939; he graduated from Moline High School in 1957; he served in the U.S. Army; he married the love of his life, Connie L. Britton, in Rock Island on July 15, 1962; and

WHEREAS, Bob Hall was a bricklayer in his earlier years and retired from Navistar (formerly IH, Farmall Works) after more than 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Bob Hall enjoyed attending gun shows, playing Euchre, cooking, and dining out; he loved his family and loved hosting holiday parties; and

WHEREAS, Bob Hall was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Emery; his parents; his brother, Bruce A. Hall; his brother-in-law, Jerry Scott; and his sister-in-law, Kathy Hall; and

WHEREAS, Bob Hall is survived by his loving wife; his daughter, Kristal Hainline; his son, Kurtis Hall; his sister, Cindi Scott; his brother, Doug Hall; his grandchildren, Jeremy Kensinger, Lindsey Kensinger, Stephanie Hainline, Briana Bland, and Kassidy Hainline; his great-grandchildren, Avarie and Eli; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bob (Pam) Britton and Joan (Larry) Jones; and his several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Robert "Bob" Blaser Hall and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bob Hall as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
