SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Robert "Bob" Blaser Hall of Moline,
4who passed away on September 14, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Hall was born to Robert A. Hall and Helen
6Blaser Hall in Moline on May 31, 1939; he graduated from Moline
7High School in 1957; he served in the U.S. Army; he married the
8love of his life, Connie L. Britton, in Rock Island on July 15,
91962; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Bob Hall was a bricklayer in his earlier years
11and retired from Navistar (formerly IH, Farmall Works) after
12more than 30 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Bob Hall enjoyed attending gun shows, playing
14Euchre, cooking, and dining out; he loved his family and loved
15hosting holiday parties; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Bob Hall was preceded in death by his
17great-granddaughter, Emery; his parents; his brother, Bruce A.
18Hall; his brother-in-law, Jerry Scott; and his sister-in-law,
19Kathy Hall; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Bob Hall is survived by his loving wife; his

1daughter, Kristal Hainline; his son, Kurtis Hall; his sister,
2Cindi Scott; his brother, Doug Hall; his grandchildren, Jeremy
3Kensinger, Lindsey Kensinger, Stephanie Hainline, Briana
4Bland, and Kassidy Hainline; his great-grandchildren, Avarie
5and Eli; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bob (Pam)
6Britton and Joan (Larry) Jones; and his several nieces and
7nephews; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Robert "Bob" Blaser Hall and extend our sincere condolences to
11his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Bob Hall as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
