1    AN ACT concerning land.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:

Article 1.

 
5    Section 1-5. The Director of Corrections, on behalf of the
6State of Illinois, is authorized to execute and deliver to the
7Village of Hopkins Park, organized and existing under the laws
8of the State of Illinois, of Kankakee County, State of
9Illinois, for and in consideration of $1 paid to the
10Department of Corrections, a quitclaim deed to the following
11real property:
 
12    Parcel Number 10-19-36-100-024, 16010 E 4500 RD S,
13    Pembroke Township, IL 60958
14    Parcel Number 10-19-36-100-025, Pembroke Township, IL
15    60958
16    Parcel Number 10-19-36-100-026, Pembroke Township, IL
17    60958
18    Parcel Number 10-19-36-100-027, Pembroke Township, IL
19    60958
 
20    Section 1-10. The conveyance of real property authorized
21by Section 1-5 shall be made subject to: (1) existing public

1utilities, existing public roads, and any and all
2reservations, easements, encumbrances, covenants, and
3restrictions of record; and (2) the express condition that if
4the real property ceases to be used for public purposes, it
5shall revert to the State of Illinois, Department of
6Corrections.
 
7    Section 1-15. The Director of Corrections shall obtain a
8certified copy of this Act within 60 days after its effective
9date and, upon receipt of the payment required by Section 1-5,
10shall record the certified document in the Recorder's Office
11in the County in which the land is located.

Article 2.

 
13    Section 2-5. Subject to the conditions set forth in
14Section 2-10, the Director of the Department of Corrections,
15on behalf of the State of Illinois, shall execute and deliver
16to the Lockport Township Fire Protection District, for and in
17consideration of $1 paid to the Department, a quitclaim deed
18for the following described real property:
 
19    THAT PART OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP
20    36 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN,
21    DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

1    COMMENCING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID SECTION 29;
2    THENCE SOUTH 87 DEGREES 56 MINUTES 40 SECONDS WEST, ON THE
3    NORTH LINE OF SAID NORTHEAST QUARTER, 400.00 FEET TO THE
4    POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE SOUTH 02 DEGREES 03 MINUTES 20
5    SECONDS EAST, PERPENDICULAR TO SAID NORTH LINE, 800.00
6    FEET; THENCE SOUTH 87 DEGREES 56 MINUTES 40 SECONDS WEST,
7    PARALLEL WITH SAID NORTH LINE, 700.00 FEET; THENCE NORTH
8    02 DEGREES 03 MINUTES 20 SECONDS WEST, PERPENDICULAR TO
9    SAID NORTH LINE, 800.00 FEET TO THE NORTH LINE OF SAID
10    NORTHEAST QUARTER; THENCE NORTH 87 DEGREES 56 MINUTES 40
11    SECONDS EAST, ON SAID NORTH LINE, 700.00 FEET TO THE POINT
12    OF BEGINNING, ALL IN WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
 
13    SAID PARCEL CONTAINING 12.856 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.
 
14    Section 2-10. (a) The quitclaim deed executed under
15Section 2-5 shall convey all right, title, and interest of the
16State of Illinois and the Department of Corrections in and to
17the real property described in Section 2-5 to the Lockport
18Township Fire Protection District.
19    (b) The conveyance of real property authorized by Section
202-5 shall be made subject to existing public utilities,
21existing public roads, and any and all reservations,
22easements, encumbrances, covenants, and restrictions of
23record.
24    (c) The quitclaim deed to the Lockport Township Fire

1Protection District shall state on its face and be subject to
2the conditions that the real property shall be used by the
3Lockport Township Fire Protection District for a training
4center and that if the Lockport Township Fire Protection
5District ceases to exist, if the real property is used for any
6purposes other than a training center, or if an attempt is made
7to sell the property, then title shall revert without further
8action to the State of Illinois.
 
9    Section 2-15. The Director of the Department of
10Corrections shall prepare one or more quitclaim deeds to
11convey the real property. The Director may also record a
12certified copy of this Act. Each quitclaim deed shall
13reference this Act and contain the reversionary language from
14subsection (c) of Section 2-10. All documents of conveyance
15shall be recorded in the county in which the land is located.

Article 99.

 
17    Section 99-99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
18becoming law.
