SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Thomas E. Frazier of Hampton, who passed away on August 18, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Frazier was born to Thomas and Mabel Whitehead Frazier in Moline on November 28, 1935; he served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War; he married Sandra L. Murphy in Hampton on January 11, 1957, and she preceded him in death on March 23, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Frazier owned and operated Tom's Small Engine and Frazier's Lawn Service for over 50 years; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Frazier enjoyed his work and his family; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Frazier was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and his sisters, June Rollins and Florence McKay; and

WHEREAS, Thomas Frazier is survived by his children, Thomas (Kim) Frazier, Debbie (Kelley) Kerschieter, Penny (Jeff) Crowe, and Sherry (Brad) Richards; his grandchildren, Jessica (Joel) Stockwell, Thomas (Rachel) Frazier, Wesley Frazier, Grace Frazier, Keith (Shannon) Kerscheiter, Paul (Amanda) Kerschieter, David (Tann) Kerschieter, Page (Anderson) Althoff, Jonathan (Lauren) Crowe, and Tyler (Courtney) Richards; his great-grandchildren, Merrick, Rowan, Caisen, Elliana, Evie, Emily, Jase, Kinley, Kerrigan, Hallie, Parker, Jules, Leah, Sammy, and Kaiden; his siblings, Giles Frazier and Mary Jane Petersen; his many nieces, nephews, and other family members; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Thomas E. Frazier and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Thomas Frazier as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
