SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Thomas E. Frazier of Hampton, who
4passed away on August 18, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Frazier was born to Thomas and Mabel
6Whitehead Frazier in Moline on November 28, 1935; he served in
7the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War; he married Sandra
8L. Murphy in Hampton on January 11, 1957, and she preceded him
9in death on March 23, 2018; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Thomas Frazier owned and operated Tom's Small
11Engine and Frazier's Lawn Service for over 50 years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Thomas Frazier enjoyed his work and his family;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Thomas Frazier was preceded in death by his wife;
15his parents; and his sisters, June Rollins and Florence McKay;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Thomas Frazier is survived by his children,
18Thomas (Kim) Frazier, Debbie (Kelley) Kerschieter, Penny
19(Jeff) Crowe, and Sherry (Brad) Richards; his grandchildren,
20Jessica (Joel) Stockwell, Thomas (Rachel) Frazier, Wesley

7Frazier and Mary Jane Petersen; his many nieces, nephews, and
8other family members; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11Thomas E. Frazier and extend our sincere condolences to his
12family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Thomas Frazier as an expression of
16our deepest sympathy.
