SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Philip Ray Koehlhoeffer of Moline, who passed away on March 31, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Philip Koehlhoeffer was born to Philip Harold and Treva (Prout) Koehlhoeffer in Moline on September 6, 1942; he served in the U.S. Air Force; and

WHEREAS, Philip Koehlhoeffer worked for the Moline Post Office for 35 years; and

WHEREAS, Philip Koehlhoeffer's biggest hobby was music, and he loved the Blues and was a member of the Mississippi Valley Blues Society; he deeply enjoyed living in Florida after retiring; and

WHEREAS, Philip Koehlhoeffer was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Walter Koehlhoeffer; and

WHEREAS, Philip Koehlhoeffer is survived by his siblings, John (Tina) Lassuy and Marcia (Mark) Frederiksen; his children, Michael (Leah) Koehlhoeffer, Trista (James St. Gelais) Koehlhoeffer, and Brent Koehlhoeffer; and his grandchildren, Anthony Koehlhoeffer, Alicia Koehlhoeffer, Kameron Koehlhoeffer, Emily St. Gelais, Lily St. Gelais, Gage Koehlhoeffer, Evie Koehlhoeffer, and Sadie Koehlhoeffer; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Philip Ray Koehlhoeffer and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Philip Koehlhoeffer as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
