SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Philip Ray Koehlhoeffer of Moline, who
4passed away on March 31, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Philip Koehlhoeffer was born to Philip Harold and
6Treva (Prout) Koehlhoeffer in Moline on September 6, 1942; he
7served in the U.S. Air Force; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Philip Koehlhoeffer worked for the Moline Post
9Office for 35 years; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Philip Koehlhoeffer's biggest hobby was music,
11and he loved the Blues and was a member of the Mississippi
12Valley Blues Society; he deeply enjoyed living in Florida
13after retiring; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Philip Koehlhoeffer was preceded in death by his
15parents and his son, Walter Koehlhoeffer; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Philip Koehlhoeffer is survived by his siblings,
17John (Tina) Lassuy and Marcia (Mark) Frederiksen; his
18children, Michael (Leah) Koehlhoeffer, Trista (James St.
19Gelais) Koehlhoeffer, and Brent Koehlhoeffer; and his
20grandchildren, Anthony Koehlhoeffer, Alicia Koehlhoeffer,

1Kameron Koehlhoeffer, Emily St. Gelais, Lily St. Gelais, Gage
2Koehlhoeffer, Evie Koehlhoeffer, and Sadie Koehlhoeffer;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Philip Ray Koehlhoeffer and extend our sincere condolences to
7his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Philip Koehlhoeffer as an
11expression of our deepest sympathy.
