SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Frank Fuoto Jr. of Moline, who passed away on April 13, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Frank Fuoto Jr. was born in New York City, New York to Frank Sr. and Julia Donofrio Fuoto on January 2, 1944; and

WHEREAS, Frank Fuoto Jr. served in the United States Air Force from 1962 until 1965; he then worked as a civilian employee of the United States Army as a management specialist at the Rock Island Arsenal for 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Frank Fuoto Jr. was active with the Grumman Lunar Module Alumni; he enjoyed the Arsenal Breakfast Club and was a voracious reader, especially of history; and

WHEREAS, Frank Fuoto Jr. is survived by his brother, John (Janet) Fuoto; his sister, Ellen (John Rasi) Fuoto; his stepbrother, Al Scarpellini; his half sister, Rosemary Fuoto; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Frank Fuoto Jr. and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Frank Fuoto Jr. as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
