Provides that the Task Force shall consider the financial implications of installing and maintaining renewable energy facilities on State-owned property, the impact on property values and the community, and environmental factors relating to renewable energy. Provides that the Task Force shall compile its findings and recommendations in a report to be presented to the Governor and the members of the General Assembly on or before January 1, 2016. Provides that the Task Force is abolished on January 1, 2017. Effective immediately.
House Committee Amendment No. 1 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with changes. Provides that the Task Force shall consider the economics and feasibility of installing and maintaining renewable energy facilities on State-owned property and the impact and benefits to the community and the State (instead of the financial implications of installing and maintaining renewable energy facilities on State-owned property, the impact on property values and the community, and environmental factors relating to renewable energy). Provides that the Task Force shall be formed within 60 days after the effective date of the amendatory Act (instead of by June 1, 2015). Makes changes concerning the membership of the Task Force. Provides that the Task Force shall present its report to the Governor and the General Assembly on or before September 1, 2016 (instead of January 1, 2016). Provides that the Task Force shall be dissolved upon submission of the report. Effective immediately.
