 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3188

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 3188,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    with  reference  to  page and line numbers of House Amendment
 4    No. 1, on page 4, by inserting after line 12 the following:

 5        "(735 ILCS 5/7-103.164a new)
 6        Sec. 7-103.164a.  Quick-take; City of Aurora.  Quick-take
 7    proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for a period of 2
 8    years  after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the
 9    92nd  General  Assembly  by  the  City  of  Aurora  for   the
10    acquisition  of  the  following  described  property  for the
11    rehabilitation and revitalization of the described area:
12        PARCEL ONE:
13        All of Love Brothers Incorporated Subdivision of part  of
14        Jenks  Addition  to Aurora (except that part described as
15        follows:  Commencing at the point of intersection of  the
16        southwesterly line of Clark Street with the southeasterly
17        line  of vacated Water Street; thence Northwesterly along
18        the Southwesterly line of Clark  Street  7  feet;  thence
19        Southwesterly  parallel  with  the  Southeasterly line of
20        vacated  Water  Street  125.03  feet  for  the  point  of
21        beginning; thence Easterly 7.79  feet  to  the  point  of
22        intersection  of  the  Northwesterly right of way line of
23        the Chicago, Burlington and Quince Railroad Company  with

 1        the  Southeasterly  line  of  said  vacated Water Street;
 2        thence Northeasterly along said  Northwesterly  right  of
 3        way  line  to  the  Southwesterly  line  of Clark Street;

 5        point  31 feet Southeasterly of the Southeasterly line of
 6        vacated Water Street; thence Southwesterly parallel  with
 7        the  Southeasterly  line of vacated Water Street 54 feet;
 8        thence Southwesterly 81 feet to the point of  beginning),
 9        in the City of Aurora, Kane County, Illinois.
10        PARCEL TWO:
11        All that part of vacated Washington Street, all that part
12        of vacated Water Street, and all that part of Lots 19 and
13        20  in Block 16 and all that part of Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, and
14        7 in Block 8 of Jenk's Addition to Aurora,  described  as
15        follows:   Beginning  at a point where the center line of
16        vacated Washington Street  intersects  the  Southeasterly
17        line  of  Stone  Avenue;  thence  Southeasterly along the
18        center line of said vacated Washington Street 122.95 feet
19        to a point in the Northerly line of the right of  way  of
20        the  Chicago,  Burlington  and  Quincy  Railroad company;
21        thence Northeasterly on a curve to the left,  along  said
22        Northerly   right   of  way  line,  to  a  point  in  the
23        Northwesterly line of vacated Water  Street,  145.5  feet
24        Southwesterly  of  the  intersection of the Northwesterly
25        line of said vacated Water Street with the  Southwesterly
26        line  of Clark Street; thence Southeasterly 48 feet, to a
27        line drawn parallel with and 7 feet normally distant from
28        and Northwesterly  of  the  Southeasterly  line  of  said
29        vacated Water Street at a point 125.03 feet Southwesterly
30        of  the Southwesterly line of said Clark Street, measured
31        along said parallel line; thence Southwesterly 90.5  feet
