1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 586
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 586, by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT regarding appropriations."; and by replacing
5 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
6 "Section 5. The following named sums, or so much thereof
7 as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and
8 purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the General
9 Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Northern Illinois
10 University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of
11 Northern Illinois University for the fiscal year ending June
12 30, 1999:
13 For Personal Services, including
14 payment to the University for
15 personal services costs incurred
16 during the fiscal year ...................... $ 75,773,600
17 For State Contributions to Social
18 Security, for Medicare ...................... 382,300
19 For Contractual Services ..................... 6,419,000
20 For Travel ................................... 581,000
21 For Commodities .............................. 1,778,500

10 Education Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of
11 Northern Illinois University to meet the ordinary and
12 contingent expenses of Northern Illinois University for the
13 fiscal year ending June 30, 1999:

25 thereof as may be necessary and remain unexpended at the
26 close of business on June 30, 1998, from reappropriations
27 heretofore made for such purposes in Article 94, Section 22.3
28 of Public Act 90-10, are reappropriated from the Capital
29 Development Fund to the Board of Trustees of Northern
30 Illinois University for the projects hereinafter enumerated:
