1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 203
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 203 on page 3,
3 immediately below line 13, by inserting the following:
4 "Nothing in this subsection (e) shall affect the
5 authority of a unit of local government to regulate
6 motorcycles for safety purposes or in accordance with Section
7 12-602 of this Code."; and
8 on page 3, by replacing lines 14 through 22 with the
9 following:
10 "A home rule unit may not regulate motorcycles in a
11 manner inconsistent with this subsection (e). This
12 subsection (e) is a limitation under subsection (i) of
13 Section 6 of Article VII of the Illinois Constitution on the
14 concurrent exercise by home rule units of powers and
15 functions exercised by the State.".
