1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The amount of $35,520,000, or so much of that
5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
6 Revenue Fund to the Teachers' Retirement System of the State
7 of Illinois for transfer into the Teachers' Health Insurance
8 Security Fund as the State's contribution for teachers'
9 health benefits.
10 Section 10. The following amounts, or so much thereof as
11 may be necessary, are appropriated to the Teachers'
12 Retirement System of the State of Illinois for the State's
13 Contribution, as provided by law:
14 Payable from the General Revenue Fund $58,447,400
15 Payable from the Common School Fund $526,026,600
16 Total, this Section $584,474,000
17 Section 15. The sum of $55,600,000, minus the amount
18 transferred to the Teachers' Retirement System of the State
19 of Illinois pursuant to continuing appropriation authorized
20 by the State Pensions Fund Continuing Appropriation Act, is
21 appropriated from the State Pensions Fund to the Board of
22 Trustees of the Teachers' Retirement System of the State of
23 Illinois pursuant to the provisions of Section 8.12 of the
24 State Finance Act.
25 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
26 1, 1999.
