6 To the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the
7 House of Representatives:
8 We, the conference committee appointed to consider the
9 differences between the houses in relation to Senate
10 Amendment No. 1 to House Bill 557, recommend the following:
11 (1) that the Senate recede from Senate Amendment No. 1;
12 and
13 (2) that House Bill 557 be amended as follows:
14 by replacing the title with the following:
15 "AN ACT to amend the Metropolitan Water Reclamation
16 District Act."; and
17 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
18 following:
19 "Section 5. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District
20 Act is amended by adding Section 283 as follows:
21 (70 ILCS 2605/283 new)
22 Sec. 283. District enlarged. Upon the effective date of
23 this amendatory Act of the 91st General Assembly, the
24 corporate limits of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation
25 District are extended to include within those limits the
26 following described tracts of land that are annexed to the
27 District:
28 Parcel 1:
29 The Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 15,
30 Township 35 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal
31 Meridian (except the South 66 feet thereof conveyed to

1 Chicago District Pipeline Company, a corporation by deed
2 recorded as document 14832873 and except the North 49.50
3 feet of the South 115.5 of the East 660.0 feet thereof,
4 conveyed to Chicago District Pipeline Company, a
5 corporation, by deed recorded on September 3, 1958 as
6 document 17306418).
7 Parcel 2:
8 The South 66 feet of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast
9 1/4 of Section 15, Township 35 North, Range 14 East of
10 the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois.
11 Parcel 3:
12 The South 66 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast
13 1/4 of Section 15, Township 35 North, Range 14 East of
14 the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
15 Parcel 4:
16 That part of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast
17 quarter of Section 15, Township 35 North, Range 14 East
18 of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois,
19 described as follows: commencing at the Northeast corner
20 of said Northeast quarter; thence South 89 degrees 11
21 minutes 17 seconds West along the North line of said
22 Northeast quarter a distance of 604.04 feet to the point
23 of beginning; thence South 00 degrees 58 minutes 21
24 seconds East a distance of 1209.86 feet to an iron rod on
25 the North line of the South 115.50 feet of the North East
26 quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 15;
27 thence South 89 degrees 13 minutes 25 seconds West along
28 last said North line a distance of 720.22 feet to an iron
29 rod on the West line of the Northeast quarter of the
30 Northeast quarter of said Section 15; thence North 00
31 degrees 58 minutes 21 seconds West along last said West
32 line a distance of 1209.41 feet to an iron rod being the
33 Northwest corner of the Northeast quarter of the
34 Northeast quarter of said Section 15; thence North 89
35 degrees 11 minutes 17 seconds East along the North line

1 of said Northeast quarter a distance of 720.22 feet to
2 the point of beginning, containing 20.00 acres.
3 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
4 becoming law.".
