1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 876
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 876, by replacing
3 lines 33 and 34 on page 3, and lines 1 through 19 on page 4,
4 with the following:
5 "On or before February 1, 1998, and each year thereafter,
6 the State Board of Education shall submit a cumulative report
7 summarizing all types of waiver mandates and modifications of
8 mandates granted by the State Board or the General Assembly.
9 The report shall identify the topic of the waiver along with
10 the number and percentage of school districts for which the
11 waiver has been granted. The report shall also include any
12 recommendations from the State Board regarding the repeal of
13 modification of waived mandates.".
