1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2960
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2960 by replacing
3 page 2, line 19, through page 3, line 5, with the following:

4 "Section 15. Penalties. A hotel in violation of this Act
5 shall receive a written warning from the local unit of
6 government in which the hotel is located for the first
7 violation. The written warning shall recite the violation and
8 advise that subsequent violations may result in citations and
9 penalties. A hotel that commits a second or subsequent
10 violation is guilty of a business offense and shall be fined
11 not more than $1,500.".
