| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Robert Eugene "Bob" Little of | 4 | | Carlinville, who passed away on February 27, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Bob Little was born in Carlinville to Truman and | 6 | | Ada (Whitby) Little on October 5, 1939; he graduated from | 7 | | Carlinville High School in 1957; he married Donna Arnett at the | 8 | | Carlinville United Methodist Church on April 24, 1960; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Bob Little served in the Air National Guard #170 | 10 | | Tactical Fighter Squadron and was on active duty during the | 11 | | Berlin Crisis; he worked for Prairie Farms and retired from the | 12 | | Carlinville National Bank in 1999 with 30 years of service; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Bob Little was a member of the Plainview Masonic | 14 | | Lodge #461, the Carlinville United Methodist Church, the Guy | 15 | | Baird American Legion Post #554, the Carlinville Country Club, | 16 | | and was a past member of the Carlinville Lions Club, where he | 17 | | served a term as treasurer; he was an avid water skier, boater, | 18 | | golfer, and woodworker; he enjoyed traveling with Donna, and | 19 | | one of his favorite trips was when he took his family to the | 20 | | Ozarks; and
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Bob Little was preceded in death by his parents; |

| 1 | | his in-laws, Lorrin and Viola Arnett; and his sisters-in-law, | 2 | | Donna Sue (Alexander) Little and Elaine (Arnett) Crain; and
| 3 | | WHEREAS, Bob Little is survived by his wife, Donna; his | 4 | | daughters, Kathy (Charlie) Smith, Linda (Larry) Snyder, and | 5 | | Janet (Jim) Roth; his grandchildren, Megan (fiance Ryan Loyet) | 6 | | Roth, Jessica Roth, and Brandon Roth; his brother, Alan B. | 7 | | (Bethe) Little; his sister-in-law, Karen Arnett; and his many | 8 | | nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | Robert Eugene "Bob" Little and extend our sincere condolences | 12 | | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | 13 | | it further
