| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION
| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Marlon Allen "Al" Page, who passed away | 4 | | on February 13, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Al Page was born in Peoria to Cenora Page on | 6 | | February 4, 1975; he attended grade and middle schools in | 7 | | Peoria; he graduated from Lanphier High School in 1994; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Al Page loved mentoring youth and was employed as | 9 | | a youth counselor at Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center; | 10 | | he also served as an assistant basketball coach at Lanphier | 11 | | High School, where he spearheaded several fund raisers to | 12 | | offset expenses incurred by the boys basketball team; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Al Page loved his family, and he took his role as | 14 | | a father seriously; he had a passion for cooking, and enjoyed | 15 | | cooking for his family and friends; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Al Page was preceded in death by his sister, | 17 | | Cenora Page, and his grandmother, Rosie Lee Page, with whom he | 18 | | shared a special bond; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Al Page is survived by his mother, Cenora; his | 20 | | stepfather, James Beverly; his daughter, Mya Page; his sons, |

| 1 | | Wade Royster, Lucas Page, and Liam Sanders; his special | 2 | | extended family, the Knox family; and many other relatives and | 3 | | friends; therefore, be it
| 4 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 5 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 6 | | Marlon Allen "Al" Page and extend our sincere condolences to | 7 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 8 | | further
| 9 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 10 | | presented to the family of Al Page as an expression of our | 11 | | deepest sympathy.
