SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Aleksas Jonas Beiga of Naperville, who passed away on April 1, 2024; and

WHEREAS, Aleksas Beiga was born to Sonata Beiga and Nerijus Beiga on January 2, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Aleksas Beiga was a freshman at Naperville Central High School, where he was a member of the swim team; and

WHEREAS, Aleksas Beiga enjoyed swimming, skiing, and mountain biking; and

WHEREAS, Aleksas Beiga approached every moment with enthusiasm and passion; his warmth and empathy knew no bounds; his infectious laughter, boundless energy, and compassionate heart touched the lives of all who knew him; he will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his kindness, and his intelligence; and

WHEREAS, Aleksas Beiga is survived by his parents; his sister, Eva Beiga; his grandmothers, Maryjona Indiene and Birute Beigiene; and his uncles, Edvinas Inda, Marijus Inda, and Gediminas Beiga; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Aleksas Jonas Beiga and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Aleksas Beiga as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
