SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Carol P. Eklof, who passed away on November 1, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Carol Eklof was born on June 29, 1934; and

WHEREAS, Carol Eklof was a long-time resident of Waukegan and a member of St. Anastasia Parish; and

WHEREAS, Carol Eklof was an avid bowler and golfer and loved to spend time gardening in her yard; she was a very positive, strong woman and had a great sense of humor; and

WHEREAS, Carol Eklof was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Eklof, and several brothers and sisters; and

WHEREAS, Carol Eklof is survived by her daughters, Karyn (Mark) Snow, Kristy (the late Gary) Koziol, Kathy Pratt, and Kim Paulette Eklof; her grandchildren, Sandy, Chris, Becca, Eric, and Jesse; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Carol P. Eklof and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Carol Eklof as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
