SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jason L. Triplett of Waukegan, who passed away on May 5, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Jason Triplett was born in Waukegan to Terry Triplett and Linda Van Dyke on April 22, 1976; during grade school and high school, he excelled at wrestling; and

WHEREAS, Jason Triplett always dreamed of becoming a truck driver and successfully drove many roads; when circumstances changed, he returned home to raise his children; and

WHEREAS, Jason Triplett dedicated his life to his family; and

WHEREAS, Jason Triplett was preceded in death by his stepmother, Margaret Triplett; his paternal grandparents, Edith and Horst Schieder; his maternal grandparents, Ken and Mary Jean Sheldon; his great-grandmother McCann; and his great-grandfather and great-grandmother Stanbery; and

WHEREAS, Jason Triplett is survived by his children, Travis and Kayla Triplett; his brother, Justin Triplett; his nieces and nephews, Ismael, Lillyannie, and Gabriel; his parents; his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his loyal and faithful canine companion, Petey; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Jason L. Triplett and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jason Triplett as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
