SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Terrence "Bebop" Tetter, who passed away
4on November 14, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Terrence Tetter was born to Donald Tetter and
6Juanita (Beard) Tetter in Chicago on August 13, 1974; he
7graduated from Danville High School in 1993; he then enlisted
8in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged after years of
9faithful service; he received a bachelor's degree in education
10from Illinois State University in 2002; he married Ivy Reed on
11September 1, 2019; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Terrence Tetter was a special education teacher
13for Danville School District 118; he began his teaching career
14at Cannon Elementary School and later transitioned to Danville
15High School; he coached Danville High School wrestling for 13
16years; he dedicated his life to helping the youth in his
17community; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Terrence Tetter was Sergeant-at-Arms of the
19Killer Bee MC, a past master of Corinthian Lodge 31 F&AM PHA,
20and a member of Menelik Consistory 49; and
 
21    WHEREAS, Terrence Tetter was preceded in death by his

1father; his three nephews, Demetrius Dandridge, Zellner Brown
2III, and Demaree' Tetter; his grandmother, Hatti Beard; and his
3grandfather, Henderson Butler; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Terrence Tetter is survived by his wife; his
5mother; his siblings, Dr. Marcellus Tetter, Donald Tetter II,
6and Donetta Tetter; his nieces and nephews; his great-nieces
7and great-nephews; his godchildren; and his family and friends;
8therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11Terrence "Bebop" Tetter and extend our sincere condolences to
12his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Terrence Tetter as an expression of
16our deepest sympathy.
