SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of James B. "Jim" Moose of Cleveland, who passed away on August 17, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Jim Moose was born in Astoria to Glenn D. and Mildred B. (Baldry) Moose on October 17, 1937; he married Janet E. Norman in Rock Island in March of 1967; and

WHEREAS, Jim Moose enjoyed skeet shooting, trap shooting, sporting clays, fishing, and golfing; and

WHEREAS, Jim Moose was preceded in death by his seven brothers; his son, Terry Moose; and his grandson, Thomas Carpentier; and

WHEREAS, Jim Moose is survived by his wife, Janet Moose; his children, Ketra Loftin, Sandra Bopp, and David Bopp; his five grandchildren; and his nine great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of James B. "Jim" Moose and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jim Moose as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
