SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Clint L. Valentine of McLean, who passed away on June 18, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Clint Valentine was born in Bloomington to James Lewis and Linda Kay Purlee Valentine on February 23, 1965; he served in the U.S. Army from 1983 to 1989 and married Teresa A. Cole in 2006; and

WHEREAS, Clint Valentine worked as a robot programmer and welder for General Electric; and

WHEREAS, Clint Valentine was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting; and

WHEREAS, Clint Valentine was preceded in death by his parents and his uncle, Steve Furman; and

WHEREAS, Clint Valentine is survived by his wife, Teresa; his children, Gabriel Rever and Chasity Cole; his grandchildren, Wyatt and Aliyah Henderson; his Furman family in Virginia; and his dog, Dash; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Clint L. Valentine and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Clint Valentine as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
