SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Marvin Glass, of Highland Park, who passed away on July 17, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Marvin Glass was the beloved husband of Rodi; the loving father of Stewart (Susie) Glass, Michele Grossman, and Deanna (James) Willerman; the adored Opa of Justin (Nicole), Samantha (Kyle), Danielle, Blake, Seth, and Bryn; the great-grandfather of Isabel; the devoted son of the late Jacob and Anna Glass; the fond son-in-law of the late Sophie and Martin Waters; the cherished brother of Philip (Ellen) Glass; the special nephew of Margie Tannen; the dear uncle of Bradley (Martha) Glass, the cousin of Bernard (Janet) Keiser, Ian Keiser, Ross (Samantha), and Sloane Keiser; and a treasured friend to many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Marvin Glass, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Marvin Glass as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
