SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ida Santi of Highland Park, who passed away on February 21, 2017 at the age of 101; and

WHEREAS, Ida Santi was the beloved wife of the late Louis Santi Jr; the loving mother of Mary Eileen Belmonti (the late Sam Belmonti) and Stephen (Lu Ann); the dearest Nonnie of Gina (Mark), Andrew (Tiffany), Brian (Melissa), Britany, and Beth; the devoted great-grandmother Nonnie of Robby, Mikey, Cheyenne, Nico, Justin, Jaxsen, and Eddie; the dear sister of the late John Lenzini, Mary Ugolini, Henry Boilini, Laura McCarthy, and Lena Peschman; the dear sister-in-law of Dirce and Guido Galassini, the late Ida and Gino Santi, and Suntina; and the fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ida Santi, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ida Santi as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
