SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of William M. "Bill" Caulfield Jr. of
4Harvard, who passed away on September 10, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bill Caulfield was born to William Sr. and Eleanor
6(Eckebrecht) Caulfield on September 6, 1929; he served in the
7United States Army during the Korean War and married Flora Ann
8Hohmann in Chicago on April 28, 1951; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Bill Caulfield worked as a mechanic for many years
10until his retirement; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Bill Caulfield loved to tinker around, repair
12things in his garage, play cards, and pull pranks on others;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Bill Caulfield is survived by his wife, Flora; his
15children, Debra (Keith) Muench, Robin (Rick) Strauss, and
16Cheryl (Gary) Rathmann; his grandchildren, Nicole (Keith)
17Sphar, Lindsey, Troy, and Trevor; his great-grandchildren,
18Emaleigh and Chase Sphar; and his furry companion, Missy;
19therefore, be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2William M. "Bill" Caulfield Jr. and extend our sincere
3condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
4him; and be it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Bill Caulfield as an expression of
7our deepest sympathy.
