| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Phillip C. Wells Sr. of Moline, who | 4 | | passed away on July 21, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Phillip Wells was born in Elroy, Wisconsin to Earl | 6 | | and Ellamae Cole Revels on May 24, 1942; he served in the U.S. | 7 | | Army from 1962 until 1965, stationed in Germany; he was first | 8 | | married to Sharon Reed; he married Ruth McGruder in 1976; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Phillip Wells retired from Case-IH in East Moline | 10 | | in 1992 after 30 years; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Phillip Wells enjoyed camping, fishing, | 12 | | woodworking, and going to the casino; he loved spending time | 13 | | with his family and friends; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Phillip Wells was preceded in death by his wife, | 15 | | Ruth; his parents; two sons; a sister; and a brother; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Phillip Wells is survived by his children, Phillip | 17 | | (Kathy) Wells, Larry Caldwell, Jerry (Martha) Caldwell, Joan | 18 | | Caldwell, James (Sherry) Morrison, and Paula (Brian) Bird; his | 19 | | siblings, Bill (Glenda) Revels, Teresa (Scott) Thalacker, | 20 | | Dorothy Jenkins, Kathy (Mike) Henry, Verna Cox, Orville |
