SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Betty Jean Stanczak of Waukegan, who passed away on June 2, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Betty Stanczak was born in Waukegan to Eugene and Edith Regenauer on August 27, 1931; and

WHEREAS, Betty Stanczak worked as a legal secretary; and

WHEREAS, Betty Stanczak was a former resident of both Kansas and Colorado; she had many talents in the arts and music; and

WHEREAS, Betty Stanczak was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Betty Stanczak is survived by her brother, Carl Regenauer and her sister, Helen Hamlin; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Betty Jean Stanczak and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Betty Stanczak as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
