SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Pamela Jean "Pam" (Cerato) Kettwig of Joliet, who passed away on May 24, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Pam Kettwig was born in Joliet to Dominic and Mary Cerato on March 22, 1953; and

WHEREAS, Pam Kettwig worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Dean's Office at Providence Catholic High School for 27 years and had a indelible impact on many families, students, teachers, and staff members; and

WHEREAS, Pam Kettwig was the foundation of her family, and she loved spending time with them and her close friends; she was a generous person who always thought of others before herself; and

WHEREAS, Pam Kettwig was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Nicolette (Kenneth) Lingle; a sister in infancy; and her grandparents, Charles and Edith Gollick and Vincenzo and Angelina Cerato; and

WHEREAS, Pam Kettwig is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry; her children, Michael (Theresa) Kettwig and Jamie (Adam) Price; her grandchildren, Dominic and Gianna Kettwig; her mother-in-law, Dorothy Kettwig; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and Dave Fox; her cousins, Susie (Ron) Naples, Barbara (John) Petriekis, Jude (Pete) Danile, and Mark Facchina; her best friend, Patty (Ed) Olszta; and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Pamela Jean "Pam" (Cerato) Kettwig and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Pam Kettwig as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
