SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph "Joe" Saputo of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on April 9, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Joe Saputo was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to
6John Saputo and Rose Caparallie on April 8, 1929; he was one of
713 brothers and sisters; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Joe Saputo served in the U.S. Navy during World
9War II; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Joe Saputo was an avid outdoorsman and loved
11camping and fishing; he and his wife, Grace, played Mr. and
12Mrs. Santa for their family and friends for 20 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Joe Saputo was preceded in death by his parents
14and his wife of 60 years, Grace; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Joe Saputo is survived by his children, Kathy
16(Dennis) Grzelak and Debbie Czerniak; his granddaughter,
17Nicole; his great-grandson, Camden; his grandsons; and his best
18friend and brother, Alex (Loretta) Saputo; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Joseph "Joe" Saputo, and extend our sincere condolences to his
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Joe Saputo as an expression of our
7deepest sympathy.
