SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Marianne Nagode of Beach Park, who passed away on November 15, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Marianne Nagode was born in Chicago to Bert and Ann Murphy Nelson on April 14, 1936; she was educated in the schools of North Chicago and graduated from Waukegan High School; and

WHEREAS, Marianne Nagode was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Marianne Nagode is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert; her sister, Denise Nelson; her sister-in-law, Gladys (John) Nelson; her nieces, Cheryl (Rick) Green and Arlene (Larry) Elrod; and her nephew, Scott (Barb) Nelson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Marianne Nagode and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Marianne Nagode as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
