HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to recognize notable achievements of citizens of this State; and

WHEREAS, The Frankfort Preservation Foundation Board of Directors has established a "Lifetime Service" Award program in order to recognize, honor, and preserve the memory of citizens and historic landmarks that exemplify the highest standards of stewardship within its community; and

WHEREAS, At a ceremony on Friday, August 13, 2004 at CD & Me, Shirley and Harry D'Ercole, Sr. are being honored with the Entrepreneurial Spirit Lifetime Service Award where "Good Friends and Good Food Come Together" in their family-owned restaurant; and

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. D'Ercole exemplify the meaning of hard-working and "young at heart"; they have been in business for 25 years and serve the best homemade Northern Italian cuisine in the Southwest suburbs; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Shirley and Harry D'Ercole, Sr. on being honored with the Entrepreneurial Spirit Lifetime Service Award given by the Frankfort Preservation Foundation Board of Directors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Shirley and Harry D'Ercole, Sr. as an expression of our respect and esteem.
