 1        AN ACT concerning insurance.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  Illinois  Insurance  Code is amended by
 5    adding Section 143.05 as follows:

 6        (215 ILCS 5/143.05 new)
 7        Sec. 143.05.  Commercial liability insurance;  additional
 8    insured.   If  a  policy  of  commercial  liability insurance
 9    provides that coverage may be extended to additional insureds
10    by the actions of the named insured,  the  policy  must  also
11    provide  that  the additional insured may invoke the coverage
12    only when the liability of the additional insured  arises  or
13    is alleged to arise out of the acts or omissions of the named
14    insured.
