SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Larry Lee Noreuil of Hopedale, formerly
4of Pekin, who passed away on December 31, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Larry Noreuil was born in Carlinville to Antone
6and Jennie Conterio Noreuil on April 30, 1944; he attended St.
7Joseph Catholic School, Pekin Community High School, and
8Midstate College in Peoria; he married Cynthia Francesca Rossi
9in Hopedale on December 28, 1958; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Larry Noreuil worked as a real estate agent for 40
11years; he last worked as the Nursing Home Administrator for
12Hopedale Medical Complex; he served on the Tazewell County
13Board for 21 years and was the Pekin Township Supervisor for 26
14years, where he instituted the workfare program and initiated
15free meals for families in need; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Larry Noreuil was active in the Democratic Party;
17he was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin and
18Hopedale; he loved his family; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Larry Noreuil was preceded in death by his
20parents; and

1    WHEREAS, Larry Noreuil is survived by his children, Andrew
2(Lynne) Noreuil, Nicole (John) Scherer, Phillip Noreuil,
3Christopher (Jamy) Noreuil, and Francesca (fiance, Richard
4Morgan) Noreuil; his grandchildren, Augustus, Theodore,
5Benedict, Gwendolyn, Alex, Olivia, Connor, Madilyn, Victoria,
6and Dominic; his brother, Stephen (Patricia) Noreuil; and his
7sister, Paulette Weghorst; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Larry Lee Noreuil and extend our sincere condolences to his
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Larry Noreuil as an expression of
15our deepest sympathy.
