SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Vincente Juarez of Oswego, who passed away on February 15, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Vincente Juarez was born in Juarez, Mexico to Genoveva Martinez and Pablo Juarez on May 5, 1964; he married Leticia Lupercio in Geneva in 1981; and

WHEREAS, Vincente Juarez was a fork lift operator at the Henry Pratt Company, where he had worked for the last 15 years; and

WHEREAS, Vincente Juarez had a passion for working on cars with his sons and had a soft spot for a particular 1969 Chevy Impala; he could always be heard shouting out loud "Ay Mija" anytime the weather took a turn for the worst, all while comforting his family with laughs; and

WHEREAS, Vincente Juarez was preceded in death by his father, Pablo Juarez and his brother, Mike Juarez; and

WHEREAS, Vincente Juarez is survived by his wife of 38 years, Leticia; his children, Adrian, Diana, and Christian Juarez; his grandchildren, Osvaldo, Adrian Jr., Nathan, Dyani, Alize, Genesis, Zaydrian, and Eliana; his sisters, Florencia, Guadalupe, Maria, Petra, and Irene Juarez; and his brothers, Gabino, Pablo, and Aurelio Juarez; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Vincente Juarez and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Vincente Juarez as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
