HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Dan Reedy on his long and illustrious career with the Kendall County Farm Bureau; and

WHEREAS, Dan Reedy has served as manager of the Kendall County Farm Bureau for over 37 years; and

WHEREAS, The job of farm bureau manager required Dan Reedy to not only assist member farmers but also manage personnel, the building, all finances, and any other issues that would arise in the farming community; and

WHEREAS, During his tenure as farm bureau manager, Dan Reedy was able to swiftly adapt to the massive changes affecting the agricultural world; and

WHEREAS, Dan Reedy has had a lasting impact on his community by being an active member of local 4-H clubs and helping a new generation take over family farms; and

WHEREAS, Despite hard times, Dan Reedy sees optimism in the future of the agricultural world due to its expansion into new and exciting areas; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Dan Reedy on his lifelong commitment to the farming community of Kendall County, and we wish him a relaxing retirement; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Dan Reedy and his family as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
