    AN ACT concerning Gulf War Veterans.

    Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section  1.   This  Act  may  be  cited  as  the Gulf War
Veterans Act.

    Section 5.  Gulf  War  Veterans  Memorial.   A  Gulf  War
Veterans Memorial may be constructed by a private entity on a
portion  of  the  State  property  in  Oak  Ridge Cemetery in
Springfield, Illinois.

    Section 99. Effective date.  This Act takes  effect  upon
becoming law.
    Passed in the General Assembly May 21, 2002.
    Approved August 16, 2002.
    Effective August 16, 2002.
