AN ACT concerning vehicles.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by
changing Section 1-106.5 as follows:
(625 ILCS 5/1-106.5)
Sec. 1-106.5. Bumper. Any Every device or system of
devices protruding from and attached to the front and rear of
a motor vehicle that has been designed to be used to absorb
the impact of a collision. For the purposes of this Code, a
bumper also includes a device or system of devices similar in
design to those with which new motor vehicles are equipped.
