AN ACT concerning State government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by |
adding Section 107 as follows:
|
(5 ILCS 490/107 new) |
Sec. 107. Veterans Gardening Day. The first Saturday in |
May of each year is designated as Veterans Gardening Day to be |
observed throughout the State as a day set apart in the honor |
and remembrance of veterans and as celebrated with appropriate |
activities.
