AN ACT concerning business.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Automatic Contract Renewal Act is amended by |
changing Section 5 as follows:
|

Sec. 5. Definition. In this Act:
|
"Contract" means a written
agreement between 2 or more |
parties.
|
"Parties" include individuals and other legal entities, |
but do not include
the federal government, this State or |
another state, or a
unit of local government, or a school |
district.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
becoming law.
